Is an angiogenesis inhibitor, meaning that it slows the growth of new blood vessels. It blocks angiogenesis by inhibiting vascular endothelial growth factor A (VEGF-A). It is used to treat various types of cancer – such as colon cancer, lung cancer, renal cancers and glioblastoma multiforme.
