ANTONIE VAN LEEUWENHOEK[1632-1723] is the father of microbiology because he was the first person to observe ,describe ,study and perform scientific experiments on microorganisms[bacteria] in 1675 with the aid of a simple microscope of his own design where he established that there were forms of life not visible to the naked eye
