What are the 3 Different Prefixes? What does this Mean?

-Mono= One atom in an Molecule [Carbon monoxide = 1 Atom of Oxygen] -Di= Two Atoms in an Molecule [Carbon Dioxide = 2 Atoms of Oxygen ] -Tri = Three Atoms in an Molecule [Nitrate = 3 Atoms of Oxygen] [This one is harder to see, but it has the 'Tri' sound wedged in]
