Early: ☻recurrent laryngeal nerve palsy (hoarseness of voice) ☻superior laryngeal nerve palsy (unable for high pitch voice) ☻tracheal obstruction due to haematoma in wound --> immediate removal of stiches or clips using the cutter/remover ☻hypocalcemia late: ☻hypothyroidism, recurrent hypothyroidism
