Pregunta:

Describe why the resistance/current of a filament lamp isn’t directly proportional to the potential difference

Autor: Alana Ray

Respuesta:

The current through a filament lamp isn’t directly proportional to the potential difference because the filament gets hot causing the resistance to increase. At high temperatures the atoms in the filament vibrate more causing the electrons and the current to collide more with the atoms, so more energy is needed to push the current through the filament.
