Phagocytes- Type of white blood cell - Defence against pathogens that pass through the first line of defence
Phagocytosis- Pathogens are engulfed into vesicles (phagosomes) and broken down by enzymes
Phagocytosis process (Stage 1)- Phagocyte recognises foreign antigen on a pathogen
