What is memorialism?
This is the view that the bread and wine are only signs of christ used to represent his body and blood to the imagination of the believer.
What is transubstantiation?
The view that the bread and wine is miraculously changed to become the body and the blood of Christ while keeping only the appearances of bread and wine
What is transfinalisation?
The view that the purpose of the bread and wine is changed by the words of consecration. With these words, they become sacred elements that arouse the faith of the people.
What is transignification?
The view that the meaning of the bread and wine is changed by the words of consecration. With these words they signify all Christians associate with the last supper.
