Name the four basic organs of a flower. Describe a time where on or more is not needed.
Sepals, petals, stamens and carpels are four basic organs of a flower. Petals may not always be necessary in the chance that wind carries pollen from plants stamens to another plant of the same species’ carpels without the need of petals to attract pollinators.
What do Xylem and phloem transport?
Xylem transports water and minerals upward from the roots to leaves and flowers. Phloem carries sugar, organic compounds, minerals and water throughout the plant.
