DEPOLARIZING AGENT MOA PHASE 1 and 2

Phase I - causes the opening of Na channel which results to depolarization of the receptor (transient twitching of the muscle or fasciculation) Phase II – continuous depolarization gives way to gradual repolarization as the Na channel closes or is blocked (flaccid paralysis)
