excluding comments from answers

Hi there. Great webapp! I'm typing answers such that there is an answer plus comments about the answer. My trouble is that I don't know how to format the comments so that they are not included in the typing practice. For example, if my question is "hello", and my answer is "здравей (informal, singular)" how do I get the comments in brackets to not be included in the speech or typing?
